IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING SET-UP: The most important step for electric motor
setup is to not "over-prop" the motor. Choose the smallest recommended prop
for the motor/cell combination you are using. Run the boat for 30 to 45
seconds and check the motor temperature. If you can hold your finger on the
motor (140 Deg), it is probably ok. If you must remove your finger
quickly, the prop is too large or too aggressive in pitch. If you continue
to operate the boat with excessive current flow and heat, the motor, ESC, and
battery pack can be damaged or ruined. Racing Boats are a big challenge
for electric motors and ESC due to the continuous high loads.
